RELOCATION FROM LONDON TO CHESHIRE
Our client had already chosen a school for their children, and needed to quickly find a suitable property in order to relocate in time for the new school term starting in early September.
We met them on a Saturday in late May and took the instruction, proceeding immediately with the search. We initially showed the client 8 properties on the following Wednesday, including two “off market” properties. We continued to search and showed them further properties during the next week. Having confirmed the preferred property, we negotiated and agreed the purchase on the Friday two weeks after taking the instruction. The property in question had just come on to the market, and we were among the first to view.
The clients here had very little up to date knowledge of the North West, and very little free time to carry out their own search in the limited time available. We were also able to assist with introductions to a local conveyancing solicitor, building surveyor, sports club and au-pair agency. Contracts were exchanged in July, and completion occurred in mid-August.
